QED QUNEX DVI-P Cable |
|
Digital Video Interface (DVI) is used to transmit full-bandwidth, uncompressed direct digital signals between high definition equipment such as DVD players, Plasma/LCD screens, set-top boxes and projectors. Devices will either be fitted with a DVI-D (Digital), DVI-A (Analogue) or DVI-I (Integrated) type connector, however QED only offer a DVI-D high quality cable. DVI features high-bandwidth Transition Minimized Differential Signaling (TMDS video technology), which helps enable the viewing of uncompressed digital video. This means you get improved pictures from your equipment, if you are able to use DVI connections. In addition, DVI reduces the cost, complexity and cinfusion of multiple cables used to connect current home-cinema systems and is forward compatible with HDMI. Unlike HDMI, DVI only carries video signals. For those that require a high quality lead that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket this dvi cable from QED lives up to the company's reputation for excellent cables and connections.
